SCS PNW Local Climbing Competition

The gym will be closed to casual climbers this day as we host a local SCS sanctioned climbing competition. (No intro class or open climb today)

Registration Fee: $40.  Non-SCS members must purchase a day license for $5.  Register before 3/21 to receive your t-shirt!  On-line registration closes 3/26.

Competition Schedule

Spring Break Open Climbing
Monday – Friday, 3/29-4/2, 1-4pm
Spring Break - No Team or Youth Climbing Club this week.
Instead, bring the kids by for our Spring Break Open Climbing.
Sign up in advance or take the chance that we’ll have room, either way, well provide the staff to entertain your kids on our walls!  Just like our Youth Club Climbing, kids will be grouped by ability and interest: beginner to advanced.  Each day will have a maximum of 12 climbers at any one time. $30/climber/day

Calendar Note - Competition Set Up
Wednesday – Friday, 3/24, 25 and 26
In preparation for the SCS competition on Saturday 3/27, we’ll start prepping our walls on Wednesday.  Plan ahead; there will be several anchors out of service through the end of the week.  (The bouldering cave will not be impacted during this time.)

Lead Climbing Class
Tuesday, 3/9
7-9 PM
Take your climbing to the next level!
Learn the fundamentals of lead climbing and belaying safely and efficiently.
Participants must be 14 or older, belay checked and should be comfortably top-roping 5.9 climbs.
$45/non | $30 members
