Enrollment Options

MONTHLY PAYMENT OPTION:

• TERMS
  Billing Schedule: Monthly billing occurs on the 1st of each month.
  Registration: Enrollment will automatically continue until you cancel.
• BENEFITS
  No Commitment Fees: Enjoy the flexibility of no long-term commitment or cancellation fees.
  Flexible Enrollment: Join any time during the trimester, subject to program availability.
• CANCELLATION
  Notice Period: To cancel before the end of a trimester, submit the Youth Program Change Form by the 10th of the final month you wish to attend.
  Final Classes: Your last day of class will be the last day of the month. You will not incur any charges for the following month’s billing.

PAID IN FULL TRIMESTER OPTION:

• TERMS
  Registration: Enrollment will automatically continue each trimester until you cancel.

Payment: Full payment is due at the time of registration or at the beginning of each new trimester. Trimester costs varies depending trimester duration.
Commitment: Participants commit to the full trimester. Enrollment continues automatically each trimester unless a cancellation is submitted by the stated deadline.

• BENEFITS
  Best Value: Receive the biggest discount available compared to the YP Monthly Option—save $92.50 over the course of the school year.
• CANCELLATION
  Notice Period: To cancel ongoing enrollment, you must submit the Youth Program Change Form by the deadline listed below for the upcoming trimester:
  Trimester Cancellation Deadlines
  Winter Trimester: Submit by December 10
  Spring Trimester: Submit by March 10
  Early Cancellation (Mid-Trimester): To cancel before the trimester ends, submit the Youth Program Change Form by the 10th of the final month you plan to attend.
  Early Cancellation Fee: A $50 fee will be deducted from your remaining trimester balance.
  Credit Balance: Any remaining funds after the fee will be issued as Vertical World Credit.
  Final Class: Your final class will be on the last day of the month you cancel. You will not be charged for the following month.

Terms and Conditions

• WAIVERS AND RULES
  Check-In Requirements: All members and guests must check in at the front desk and complete all necessary forms, waivers and proficiency tests before they may enter the gym.
  Minors: All minors under the age of 18 must have their waiver of liability signed by a parent or legal guardian before they use the gym.
  Adherence: All individuals must comply with Vertical World’s rules and program expectations while on the premises.
• CANCELLATIONS
  Payment Policy: All payments are non-refundable.
  Extenuating Circumstances: If you encounter an extenuating situation affecting your enrollment, please contact the Program Coordinator.
  Program Disruptions: Should Vertical World need to close temporarily and this affects a scheduled class, private lesson, or series, we will offer a reschedule, refund, or VW credit for the affected service. Rescheduling, refunds, or VW credits will be processed once Vertical World reopens.
• ATTENDANCE
  Health and Wellness: Please keep your child home if they are feeling unwell. Notify the Program Coordinator if a participant misses class(s) due to illness.
  Absence Flexibility: We understand that occasional absences are common. Our program is designed to accommodate such absences.
  Make-Up Sessions: If your child is sick or cannot attend class due to extenuating circumstances, please reach out to our Program Coordinator for all of the options to get in for lost class time.
  Mid-Trimester Enrollment: If joining mid-trimester or missing a technical skills unit (e.g., belaying), we offer a complimentary skills class. Contact the Program Coordinator or your instructor for details.
  Additional Instruction: If you believe your child would benefit from extra instruction, please speak with their instructor to explore the option of scheduling private lessons with one of our experienced coaches, available for an additional fee. More information regarding youth private lessons can be found HERE
  Attendance Concerns: If you anticipate that your child will miss a significant number of sessions, please consult with the Program Coordinator about alternative youth instruction options.
• LOW-ENROLLED PROGRAMS
  Program Viability: Programs with fewer than 3 participants may be canceled. In such cases, Program Coordinators will contact enrolled participants with alternative options.
• YOUNGER PARTICIPANTS
  Staff Responsibilities: Vertical World staff are not responsible for diaper changes or potty training.

  Fall Trimester: September 10th through December 20th
  Winter Trimester: January 3rd through March 27th
  Spring Trimester: March 30th through June 14th

  NO PROGRAMS ON THESE DATES AT THE SEATTLE LOCATION:

  November 26th – 29th
  December 21st – January 2nd
  March 28th – 29th

  NO PROGRAMS ON THESE DATES AT THE NORTH LOCATION:

  October 28th
  November 26th – 29th
  December 21st – January 2nd
  March 28th – 29th

  Class Changes: If your schedule changes and you wish to switch classes, please contact the Program Coordinator via email for available options.
